Moving to Portland, Oregon and finding work in food service is easy for Paul and Ramona. A struggling musician without bandmates, Paul becomes introverted and moody. Ramona's friend from college introduces her to a new social circle and she goes out while Paul stays home. When Ramona confronts turning thirty, it's time to grow beyond old routines and her relationship with Paul comes to a head.
Paul and Ramona, a young couple in need of a change, move to Portland, Oregon from their hometown of Boise. Upon arriving, they sublet an apartment and begin to familiarize themselves with the city. While finding work is easy (Ramona begins waitressing, while Paul gets a job at a coffee shop), change is difficult. Their life in this new city seems to be on repeat. When their car breaks down and a tandem bicycle becomes their primary means of transportation, Ramona refuses to ride.
A struggling musician, Paul, spends most of his time at home, steadily becoming introverted and moody, while Ramona, at the insistence of a co-worker, is thrust into a new social circle, where she begins an affair with a co-worker. Ramona and Paul’s relationship implodes after she confesses and in the ensuing conflict, she impulsively leaves to stay with a friend. Paul, desperate to work through the pain of the split, befriends a quirky barista named Ali. This friendship gives him a chance to begin to heal and inspires him to focus on expression through his music.
根本看不下去，太流水账了，剧情非常俗套，歌舞完全嗨不起来。
今年最喜欢了。我也要三十了，觉得非常relate，好几首歌唱得泪流满面，也觉得好像tick tick时间不够了，但好像生活里的各方面都还没进入正轨，可不可以让一切停下，可不可以在不失去的情况下就能得到。本来看音乐剧不多，也不知道Larson的故事，听完他的人生觉得命运过于唏嘘了。电影真的很完好地把他和每个人的遗憾梦想坚持展现出来，不上院线有点可惜。ps：why does it take a disaster for things to change? 再ps：奶一口加菲冲奥要成功鸭
我看到评论里都在爆哭。所以我知道了，我是铁石心肠。
形式会让人产生一种疲倦感。如果不是音乐的忠实爱好者的话，可能看电影会非常吃力。好像就真的是在看音乐剧，但可能大多数观众进来之前不知道是这样的。在音乐叙事和现实叙事来回切换，有些不适应。P.S.加菲那个嘴，他是故意的么。。。
歌舞电影不容易走心
在滴答声的催促下，焦虑和不甘油然而生，朋友的成功，女友为生活做出的妥协都是一声声的质问，唯有梦想与坚持能换来精神的富足。加菲的歌喉和演技得到了完美的释放，精妙的剪辑让两部音乐剧此起彼伏。但是剧本的情感冲击力略显不足。

最喜欢亚历山德拉·希普的嗓音。
看完满是心满意足的喜欢～仍然小中见大的剧本，电影版上一部已经很惊喜了这部还要更好，A New Era是立意更高版的《雨中曲》、又是老太太乃至庄园乃至整个英国的变化。多引进些这样的片子多好
年度十佳加一，很难不喜欢歌好听的电影。虽然我并不认识电影主角的原型，但是也被加菲的表演所感染。实在是太好听，渐入佳境如同时钟倒数，滴答滴答，生活催促着你做出改变，你想坚守梦想，但是身边挚爱一个接着一个离去。你想创作属于自己的作品，但是时代并不会迁就你。而有时候当你离去，我们才明白你作品中超越这个时代的特质
里面选的歌其实还可以吧。总的来说是值得看的吧。
加菲总是让我想到Angels in America 虽然musical可能真的不是我的genre 但还是很感人很燃
LMM作为宽街新贵的人脉大展览（最直白的就是sunday餐厅曲的cameo：LMM自己以及他的班底，算是桑爷那儿来的Bernadette Peters和Chita Rivera和André De Shields，我个人看到倍感惊喜的Joel Grey，等等），整体效果无限类似（被按摩师虚假安利给LMM的）加菲的音乐剧电影表现：架势能唬人。（加菲起初的表演实在太像天使在美国时的prior了）（属于LMM和加菲的motif/幽灵船涟漪在片中不停浮现）（对他俩有滤镜，以及在电影中途迅速去买了rent 25周年farewell tour的票，再以及公寓party的bgm有石玫瑰的i wanna be adored，所以给四星）
看了一半弃了，不是太喜欢这样的音乐剧，音乐不动人故事也平淡，不值8.3分，不如爆裂鼓手
爱乐之城x横道世之介x火花…的感觉，没想到有一天能看到这种融合
生理共情的结果就是眼泪更加充盈，要比情感来得快得多。怎么没人夸凡妮莎，又美又会唱，爱了。
哎，太戳了，29岁还在等待机会的剧作家，到底该怎么坚持下去。这里头的歌我都挺喜欢的，日常小灵感捕捉而成的小歌很多，加菲演和唱都相当努力，久违的baby V一开口我就仿佛回到那个夏天。LMM第一次当导演，感觉那种死线逼近的感觉做紧凑一点会更好。
Downton never let me down
就是电视剧拍法，故事也是电视剧，除了美丽的衣服和布景外没啥好说的，但是我好感动，大家都很礼貌，每个人都柔和镇定，结局也很正向。不过同性线删掉真是讨厌啊
用灵动轻盈的方式拍了一个动人的悲剧故事，一个梵高式怀才不遇的天才如何在困苦中继续奋斗，像所有天才一样被误解被放弃，在最终迎来成功时却又永远离开我们的故事。更悲剧的是这样精彩的本应属于大银幕的音乐剧最后只能在网飞看，这依然是一个快消费才华的时代。
