拉娜·沃卓斯基放飞自我一般的对前作进行了自嘲，似乎想借此从前作的血统中割离开来，但是这种想法并被坚决地执行下去，一方面不断地利用既有的素材引导观众共鸣，另一方面又想要推翻“黑客帝国”三部曲祭奠的风格，结果就导致整部电影在严肃与娱乐之间左右摇摆，飘忽不定。这样的续作，立项之初就应被扼杀在摇篮里。

新瓶装老酒，在基努里维斯最貌美的时期也只是轻描淡写的爱情片段竟然成了这部的主旋律，曾经引人深思的哲学科幻片变成了纯纯的商业片，已经很完整很经典的系列非要挖出来糟蹋一遍才死心，导演的官方吐槽说出了观众的心声，华纳只为圈钱没有心。
7.neo、trinity发糖了！！
1，其实我特别喜欢胶片电影的质感，这部和前几部的电影质感区别特别明显，有点变成奈飞网络大电影的感觉了。2，这一部变得更哲学了。3，片尾有彩蛋，千万要忍住一长串超长演员表。4，影片各种闪回是有意义的。5，自己吐槽自己也是没谁了，风格变化太大一时接受不了。
实在是不想看到这样的局面，导演摆烂之作，一部强行拼凑出来的续集。导演在片中暗示了很多当下的电影市场和观众的现状，红色和蓝色的选择一直是我们所有人要面临的问题
