During the US Civil War, Union POWs escape in a balloon and end up stranded on a South Pacific island, inhabited by giant plants and animals. In 1865, during the siege of Richmond, Virginia, the union soldiers POW Captain Harding, Neb and Herbert escape in a balloon during a storm with two confederate prisoners, Sergeant Pencroft and the journalist Spilett. The uncontrollable wind takes the balloon to a mysterious island in the South Pacific in the area of New Zealand. Captain Harding self-proclaims the leader of the group and they look for food; sooner they discover that they are stranded in an island. Further, they are attacked by a giant crab that becomes their first meal. Along the days, they build a shelter and finds that the island is inhabited by giant animals. A couple of days later, they find two castaways on the beach, the aristocratic Lady Mary Fairchild and her sexy niece Elena. Later they find a trunk with weapons and instruments like sextant and shelter with a journal of a man left alone in the island by pirates. When the pirate vessel arrives in the island, they are helped by Captain Nemo of the Nautilus, a submarine that had supposedly sunk in the coast of Mexico eight years ago. 我该这么去了解同性恋了，这个电影算是解决了我的一个困惑，为什么同性恋的男生知道自己喜欢男生的前提下还要去跟女生结婚生子，因为他们想让自己正常，想要拥有家人。但是这对于女生来说不就是妥妥的欺骗嘛
纯从教室跳下去的场面，果然不管是剧还是电影都很有冲击性…
哪里有压迫，哪里就有反抗。毛主席说过，星星之火可以燎原。
片中在银行中不杀人质很奇怪，对自己人毫不犹豫开枪，在中国类似事件警方并不会受绑匪威胁，而是直接封锁消息冲进去。一开始很期待三人在银行的表现，后面故事很让人失望。

種族之間，人為的隔離，就是世界上最大的不公。白種人的傲慢，就是自我感覺太好。自由和平等有時候的代價是巨大的，南非如此，很多地方也如是。
很燃！编剧和导演带有明显的偏向，把三位MK战士塑造的弱势又强大，暴力又正义！但这是根据真实事件改编的，一分真实四分改编，为自由而战没错，但就真实事件而言，三位主角远没有电影塑造的完美～但凡挟持人质相关的电影，多多少少都会展示斯德哥尔摩症候群，本片也不例外～自由，对普通人，从古至今，都是最贵的！
南非的主旋律影片，拍摄质感不错，后面略多煽情，但是苦大仇深的的南非黑人一定会留下非常激动地的泪水。 说革命也好，说争自由也罢，这些都是冠冕堂皇的高帽。就是底层黑人造反当家做主了，无论何时大革命的起因就是高层制度对广大穷苦人民的压迫，致使底层誓死反抗。 从斯巴达斯奴隶起义到德国农民起义三战争自古如此， 就像影片里的南非，原本在白人统治下已经是“准发达”国家，但再怎么发达黑人也未能从中获益，那黑人就得闹、折腾。 应了孔子的名言：人之患不在于贫富，而在于不均。 今天的南非是一天不如一天了，但白人不再是高高在上了，黑人也就不闹了
对于某些地方的某些人来说 。自由的代价 真的好贵 is everything
故事没意思，整体拍得还可以。节奏挺紧凑的。

根据真实事件改编 值得一看。银行主管小姐姐死得太冤了。

但这类表达反抗的，种族歧视的，战争创伤的故事，却总是让我们不仅要反思，为什么我们会如此激动，为什么我们会感动或愤怒，时代明明在进步，可那些永无休止的问题为何却总是挥之不去，萦绕脑畔
黑人主旋律电影就算了吧，黑人统治的下场是什么，对比一下以前的南非就知道了。
有两处被戳到但是同时觉得日本人对于“普通”的向往难以言喻
自由的代价太高了。当代的我们没本事，所以迟迟未到
生拉硬拽扯到了纳尔逊曼德拉头上，整个抓捕过程警察也太水了些。
自由的代价高昂，这部电影在冲突中走向共识，底层人民的握手言和却无法让上层满意，因为他们要的就是冲突来巩固他们的统治。内奸的戏份对于剧情来说有些许多余，但依照事实改编，可能也无可奈何。
