看上去很美好的重聚特辑，但背后有很多乱七八糟不足与外人道的事情，要不然电影版早就出来了，有分量的客串一个都请不来。这里的主角不是Friends，而是HBOMAX，其实他们都是来给流媒体站台的，而流媒体正是杀死公共电视台和情景喜剧的元凶。剧中六个人里面最喜欢钱德勒，但马修派瑞现在的状态好差，让人心疼。最惊喜的爆料是，是因为现场观众的反应才让制作人决定将让钱德勒和莫妮卡从一夜情发展为地下情的，这很酷。

对老设定的大幅修改让人一头雾水，华丽画面的反面是疲软的叙事，不过很明显庵野秀明这些年也逐渐放下了“故弄玄虚”的故事内核，TV原作中脆弱而别扭的红蓝黑三人组在相互的羁绊和各自的旅途中得到了成长，作为本系列的终结，这个结局也反映了一代老中二人梦醒时分回归社会的现实。

2021/5/30/17年后重聚，真的是看情怀，多少人大学时的入门剧，看见被岁月杀猪刀摧残的六人，感慨万千。

新剧场版四部看下来，Mari的存在还是那样莫名其妙，感觉就是生硬地从Asuka那里抢了一些戏份
