During the US Civil War, Union POWs escape in a balloon and end up stranded on a South Pacific island, inhabited by giant plants and animals. In 1865, during the siege of Richmond, Virginia, the union soldiers POW Captain Harding, Neb and Herbert escape in a balloon during a storm with two confederate prisoners, Sergeant Pencroft and the journalist Spilett. The uncontrollable wind takes the balloon to a mysterious island in the South Pacific in the area of New Zealand. Captain Harding self-proclaims the leader of the group and they look for food; sooner they discover that they are stranded in an island. Further, they are attacked by a giant crab that becomes their first meal. Along the days, they build a shelter and finds that the island is inhabited by giant animals. A couple of days later, they find two castaways on the beach, the aristocratic Lady Mary Fairchild and her sexy niece Elena. Later they find a trunk with weapons and instruments like sextant and shelter with a journal of a man left alone in the island by pirates. When the pirate vessel arrives in the island, they are helped by Captain Nemo of the Nautilus, a submarine that had supposedly sunk in the coast of Mexico eight years ago. 3.5//大友克洋+史云梅耶+捷克气质，太多意向符号直讽这个腐朽的世界和人类，最终总会毁灭的//就是镜头语言和逻辑无法很好的交糅，看着有点大乱炖之感，但还是欣赏导演三十年磨一剑的精神，从内核及视效与多处灵动配乐还是让这个作品褒大于贬吧
不知道制作者花了多少时间做出了这么一堆垃圾，真是可悲。
反战、反乌托邦、反托拉斯、渎神……等等？元素过多，没看懂。
3.5星，不知道有多少真实的成分，虽然是配角，但是希特勒和张伯伦这两个重要人物的塑造也太糟糕了吧。

真的 一看就是歪果仁搞出來的
如果非要拿出一个很显而易见的故事主线，似乎有点太难。内容过于丰富神奇并且荒诞。非要夸一夸的话，只能说动画才是电影想象力的边界。
画面设计和音乐完美，少一分是看不懂什么意思，有一种反战的感觉
虽然血腥暴力肮脏缺乏主线，但想象力太丰富了。
初看并未理解其中含义，看了解说方才略知一二。该电影画面极度猎奇，具有极强烈的视觉冲击感。整部影片内容名副其实，这是一片疯狂且无尽循环的废土，贯穿其中的则是希望、权利与死亡。

妥妥儿的呈现什么叫用很厉害的技术挑粪（真的是字面意思）
太迷幻太重口了太爽了……虽然没太看懂但是大量的概念元素一股脑的表现出来像是喝了一口味道丰富有层次还上头的鸡尾酒
看的一头雾水,前边还是很爽的,后面就开始迷了
2分。看了前面表示没看懂，看完全部也是一头雾水……看了影评才理解了大概，但还是欣赏无能。
宗教，资本异化，极权统治，历史循环上演，太多太多隐喻。制作疯神这批人一定在宇宙边缘的赛博小酒馆里和八只眼的外星蠕虫举杯畅饮，然后跑进黑洞里磕上一整天的药，不然怎么能制作出如此瑰丽而带有独特粘腻气质的定格动画。整部片看下来，即使视觉上被各种猎奇之物与色彩不断冲击，我也不会感到恐怖，取而代之更多的是一种喘不过气来的压抑感，一种久违的对于幽闭与未知的本能性反抗。疯神不适合大部分人，它终将是疯子的呓语，亦或者，我们才是疯子？
随便剪出来一段，就是个绝佳的短片，这波表现主义赢麻了
它不一定好看，但是你找不出跟它一类的作品。肮脏潮湿无序混乱，这个作品其实更像是《Heavy Metal》杂志的一次动画化，它不一定属于这个时代，但是它只能在这个时代被实现。时钟跳动那一段我是在困倦无比半梦半醒的状态下看的，非常带感，仿佛是但丁再一次游览地狱。
满足了我对cult片的所有想法 既邪又难懂 脏兮兮的噩梦 片尾血液繁衍生命宇宙不停的闪进莫名让我很兴奋😳
