The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 至暗时刻下人们自发的互助太感人了，舞台装置只有桌子椅子和一个旋转的地板，演员们一人饰多角，更重要的是作为音乐剧每一段旋律都很好听，比汉密尔顿精彩太多，享受了一场淋漓尽致的演出

3.0。看眼海報就能想出劇情的大致落點，全然屬於乘著女性主義浪潮的陳舊雞湯，並且沒有看出非要拿這個劇本拍電影而不是做成舞台劇的必要性。
舞台布景、声光影、演员不同角色切换自如，这些都很不错，百老汇不愧是老牌，玩得很专业，对911没太大感触，情绪共鸣起不来。国内在类似的现代舞台歌舞剧确实得好好学习一下老美，传统戏剧舞曲搞太多也没必要，融合现代生活、事件的特色舞台剧，更容易文化输出。
