The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. #VIFF2021 两星半，但评分比想象中要低，可能很多人抱着看灾难片的预期观影。很疑惑豆瓣的分类为何不是“喜剧”排最前面，笑点很多，煽情也合适，现场的老外一边乐得拍手掌一边抹眼泪，至少娱乐性做足了。另外作为东亚人，对于“买房焦虑”的议题深有同感，可惜讽刺也是浅尝即止，外加五毛特效和太多实在无法忽略的bug，让整部片子更像是半成品，应该打磨得更精细一点的。
明明是喜剧片，偏要写做剧情片，太多的为剧情服务的命运安排，这就也完全不能称作为灾难片，因为不真实。但作为喜剧片，大家看看笑笑，也就及格了，行了。
一开始基调就定错，后面再怎么努力煽也救不回，何况煽得并不成功。

乏善可陈。强行煽情，剧情想当然，拯救小组业余到不行。我期待什么时候能在中国电影上看到「山东栖霞笏山金矿矿难」。

喜剧和灾难怎么搭配都不会对劲。这个卡司拍出一部网大质量的片何必呢，特效假剧情也假。
