The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 不苦情、不沉重，大量的美式笑话让人忍俊不禁。但笑着看完，却哭着回忆，百老汇的这波美式正能量，我先干为敬。
精彩，演员表现力简直炸了。摄像巨清晰，就像身临其境一样
每个个体的困境依旧，但对痛苦的共同感知造就了鲜活的、善良的、沟通着的世界。
整部剧的基调是自由主义式的，或许这才是正确对抗恐怖主义的途径。用融合代替隔离，用积极代替阴郁，用好好生活代替暴力反应。这部剧是在支离破碎中开出的鲜花，远比美军践踏阿富汗这20年取得的成绩都大。

真人真事改编的歌剧，主题很棒，但是单就故事性来讲有些平淡了，令人并不内心激动，歌曲也就还好，分三次看完了，看得有点困
悲与喜带来的历史与2022之间的一致性，使得苦难没有意义，虚无又穿透了我。
