The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 能看出是用心之作但剧本真的一般，结尾的感情渲染太刻意了以至于到最后一刻有点跳戏。摄影是好看的，朱老师也是好看的，最爱的是养老院那天晚上的那场哭戏。

故事挺简单的，不过至少人家能够控诉一下NHS。人与人之间的关系有很多种，单纯的互相喜欢互相帮助是很舒服的关系。Stephen的演技高出Jodie至少2个档次，果然是一直喜欢的低调演员
