The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 好久没看黑白片了，摄影很棒，穿越过四个风格各异的美国城市，这样的色调也不会喧宾夺主。需要跟影像和时间一起放慢下来去体验这两位主角之间的bonding，孩子对世界的思考，成年人的焦虑。Over the years, you will try to make sense of that happy, sad, full, empty, always-shifting life you're in.

影像很舒服。人物状态很惬意。故事很松散。不是我的菜。所以对不起。

黑白，诗意。我们是否也应该被孩子们教育呢？不知道，因为我们从未倾听过。影片缺点就是太平淡，小孩任性引起不适了。总之谈不上喜欢。

成人往往会忘了自己孩童时的样子，但是偶尔不经意间又会表现出孩童的样子。本片恰到好处地体现了孩童的纯粹和暖度。其实演员都知道跟孩子演戏是极其吃亏的，但是华金还是做到了，他用温柔的演技包裹住了整部影片。看本片是极其舒适的，声效细腻又绵长，不过我不是很理解为什么要用黑白摄影。
午后的阳光打在腿上，看完这样一部电影，太温柔太细腻了，不过思绪总会飘到电影以外的地方，只好不停地按倒退键。

这部电影探讨了很多：母职、亲子、家庭、成长、人与人之间的沟通交流甚至还有对美国未来的思考。小演员灵气十足，演技不在华金之下。黑白加分
3.5，一碗来自a24的温馨鸡汤。没有教不好的小朋友，只有不愿用心教育的家长。原先在摄影机/录音设备后负责纪录的“影人”反客为主，成为了叙事的主体，这个想法挺有意思的。可能是之前太迷《小丑》了，现在只要看到杰昆一抱双臂，一做鬼脸，就觉得他还在演Arthur…
所见越多真实，自身的存在便越真实。我们畅谈未来，喜欢记录的动作，享受开阔的感觉。走进新的世界，我们会准备好的。有共同联想的期待，我们会一起收获新的世界的感受。
要是关于孩子的采访部分真的套拍了一个纪录片一定会更有趣
