The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 整体感觉是普通，就是讲了一个普普通通的爱情故事。在这个故事里，工作上鲜亮的北漂们会骑着电动车上下班，年轻人一见钟情就会立即在一起，在一起后会把小猫小狗当做自己的孩子，会在同居的日子里对对方说“累了”，会因为对方夜晚的微信而疑神疑鬼。

“在北京待的好好的，分个手就跑了，怂不怂啊？”“谈不谈恋爱 生不生孩子 都随你 一个人的时候啊 怎么高兴怎么过”女主妈妈由《我在他乡挺好的》的许言出演……
吵架的戏份共情了，要是结尾没和好能再涨一两分
不足之处在于感觉比较仓促。

配的歌都很好听，而且歌词都挺搭剧情的，回头要支持一下。
感觉就是专门为cp粉拍的一个福利而已。
两人甜蜜的时候看着也尬 争吵的时候看着也尬 编剧写得啥玩意儿 导演导的又是啥玩意儿 男主演技也被女主碾压 额...
所以为什么以年为单位？你们是以秒为单位。中间吵架非常真实，其他可以不看
一般不喜欢看纯粹的恋爱片，因为喜欢毛晓彤，看到院线新片里有这部电影才看的，很一般

超级低配及简化版的《花束般的恋爱》。优点在于情绪的起承转合逻辑是对的，但系列上完全经不起推敲，并且与现实中的男女关系，有挺大的不同。想要拍现实题材的作品，却用理想化的关系去包装，共鸣就不会存在了。杨玏的演技真不行，只会挤眉弄眼，两人的cp感起不来。

非常纯粹的爱情片，在一起和分手的原因也很老套，但是因为毛晓彤这个甜妹，我还是看完了，她真的好灵气好可爱
陆鹿珊在物质上对男主没有依赖，所以她希望的是需要江宇的时候江宇能在自己身边，而江宇内心想要证明自己，所以自顾自的以为等自己成功了条件好了就能给陆鹿珊安全感，奈何那并不是陆鹿珊想要的。好在，后来江宇明白了，他们还能在一起。

故事有点头重脚轻，但比想象中好，虽然传统，却是现实，有触动人心的点
