The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 超级情怀的一部电影，几个小朋友都很可爱，原版演员悉数回归（已故的 Harold Ramis 化为数字鬼魂回归本片），结尾彩蛋也诚意满满，虽然少了些刺激的桥段，但让人十分期待下一部！

很神奇，偏远小镇、作死青年、神秘的父辈、科技怪才。。。这种种元素堆起来就是妥妥的悬疑片，但是这部竟然是意外，非得向着喜剧靠，效果是有，但是让两个小孩，后面哥哥和餐厅女孩（甚至看完下来都记不住名字）加入了捉鬼小分队，完全撑不起场面。小女孩聪明也只体现在知道的学术知识很多，那老师更是sb，在小镇研究地震那么久不知道个所以然，反而还带着两个小孩打开陷阱器？？？反派也就那样，场面很足但是还是很弱鸡，最佳反派应该是棉花糖小鬼，太可爱了！一句话总结就是不如上一部啊
超好看呀。看这种傻白甜电影 有笑点哭点就好。而且演员都自然清新脱俗 哈哈哈哈 太gam power了
很怀旧，但对于没有情怀的人来说，会感觉到一股陈腐味，简单说，一点都不炫酷，太old school了。不过小女主真的太有灵气了，有种看到当年的小赫敏的感觉。
两部《捉鬼敢死队》就比较一般，这部更是没意思，故事太平淡，比不过女版《捉鬼敢死队》；特效不错，小女孩很漂亮，但造型让我以为这是个漂亮的小男孩。
这官中字幕也太烂了，，，宁愿没有都更好理解一点，，ps杨伯文总是配角配得太出彩，把主角的光芒夺得一点不剩

连着幕后原版Spangler演员去世的故事看还挺感人的……但整个高潮来得都太晚了。全片最大笑点：别人都在深情演感情时在一旁跟野人一样的paul rudd哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈
好看！我好喜欢！虽然裸男多到屏幕塞不下，但本质还是一个浪漫爱情喜剧，纯情的故事才是最性感的，仿佛总会有个人能透过外貌家世身份，只专注你有趣的灵魂和闪光的大脑，而我明知是童话故事却永远为此感动. 傲慢与偏见怎麼改編都好看，真世界名著经典永流传，杨博文真的好娇俏好适合小妞电影！
好难看啊，哈哈哈哈，都不想认真写影评，啥好IP在索尼手里都能化神奇为腐朽
