The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 跟完美世界和老爷车比，不在一个水准。无论是故事还是人物都过于单薄了。看到九十岁的他还在电影里调情，怎么都会出戏的。他已经不能骑马了，看到替身在马背上翻腾，也没法不出戏。他已经没法再演一个牛仔了，哪怕是演一个苍老落寞的牛仔。
伊斯特伍德以这样一部电影告别导演生涯实在太令人难过了，给我一种豆腐工程的感觉。不过对于东木，也不能要求更多了吧
只要他还有新作，我们就不能倒。仰拍老牛仔爬坡的靴子太过分，要哭了。
东木桑已经91岁高龄。而今识得愁滋味，却道天凉好个秋。全片只有和13岁少年的互相治愈互相救赎。
看得出来东木老爷是真的老了 表演有点力不从心的感觉 但 还能看到老爷子在演戏 那就足够了 不是么
骨子里的牛仔精神，一次对于《完美的世界》的自我复制，但故事上和老牛仔近些年的故事一样更加童话和美好，也许这就是老头子越发老小老小的“童”心未泯吧 ★★☆

老爷子的这部新片不像一部电影，更像是一位91岁的老人在为你讲述他的人生智慧。
童话版自传体电影
大概就是铁汉柔情，另一种结局的《廊桥遗梦》，故事圆满了果然就不刻骨铭心了。另外这个小男孩一些角度太像24k goldn了。
