The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 悬疑做得很足，而男主的感情线又一直很期待，跟“私人荒漠”还有些类似，但明显这部还要好些。

中规中矩，结局也emmm。
音乐好听，剧情紧凑，两个主演很养眼，果然，波兰常出帅哥。
叙事结构可以再紧凑一些，配乐很赞，最后10分钟发现局长秘密要去解救情人时，背景音乐突然转为快板女声伴唱急促实为神来一笔，以及恭喜网飞借此片介入波兰政治。
视听语言和cp感都很赞，几处玻璃折射的运用尤其不错；但案件、背景、男主的觉醒与男主男二的爱情，短短不到两个小时，根本不够展开，再加上未婚妻的设定，显得男主爱上男二挺突兀的。结尾说当年的很多档案到现在都还没能解密，想到网上经常吐槽都xxxx年了，日光之下总无新事。

想打三星 因为觉得情感表达也欠了点 时代压抑感刻画得也不足够厚重 但转念又想 我是谁啊 有什么资格这么苛刻 还是四星吧
女孩我只是不能...虽然这一对很好嗑（特别是Robert审Eric那一段😭是谁嗑到脚趾抓地我不说，但是作为影片主线之一的查案过程有时候真的会让人感到莫名其妙
。

设定很好 男二很帅 但电影本身有点平凡 这个大背景可以拥有更好的表达
情节发展的处理方式比较简单，在大致呈现社会背景的基础上，清楚地表现出人物的情感与意识的变化。

铁幕将散前的东欧，同性恋犯罪…各种奖项符号太多，却无法构成一部真正震撼人心的作品。
