The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 柔软科幻，日式煽情，绝佳试听，苹果美学，潸然不停。当克隆成熟到不分你我，用“替代”走完自己未能走完的路。这是一个很好的假想，很有可能就是未来的先现。只是导演以含情脉脉的视角，展现了积极的一面。阿里一饰两角的温情演绎，仅是看着他的眼眸都能感受到满屏的blue。纤细、唯美、欲仙、纠葛，Jay Wadley仅凭这一部电影荣盛心目中Max Richter之后第二人。
当近端科幻切入到人文关怀与家庭伦理这样的敏感题材，胜在处理的细腻真挚。那在任何一段关系中，被人替代总是不好受的。
