The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 血腥——糟糕的父女关系 哈莉——变态的恋爱关系
又黑暗又欢乐 鲨鱼太萌了 哈莉太有魅力 角色塑造的都挺成功的，只是看到最后我都得翻回去才知道谁是米尔顿。 8/10
反政府的题材还是老美玩得比较溜，反派是个五角星而且还会洗脑也是映射阿共仔太明显。

不是每个人都会发挥关键作用，而且每个人都有自己的弱点缺陷，每个人的微小力量汇聚在一起，最终放倒大怪兽，就像最卑微的老鼠，当它们有了目标，事情就会不一样。 蓝粉海星和大红哈莉真好看，哈莉不仅臂力惊人，腿上功夫也了得，自救一段鲜花与枪火齐爆，粗暴与柔美同屏，黑暗与纯洁共生共存，欢迎来到现实世界。时不时抖出的笑料每次刚要严肃立马又被幽了一默。爱mom nom的大鲨鱼的憨憨形象已俘获我心。 -我曾幸福，自由漂浮，仰望星空。
大海星有什么错！人家只是想翱翔在太空，被抓回来做实验折磨了三十多年！
导演找找到了自己的风格，不过美国英雄主义变得越来越隐蔽了，本来以为会一口气黑化到底，结果还是划清立场，美国毁灭地球，美国再拯救地球，结果美国盖世英雄。
趣味和怪胎也不失为超级英雄类型片的一个方向~
基调像死侍，团队作战是银河护卫队，派大星死前的话致敬银翼杀手。想到JJ都可以混着拍星战和星际迷航，滚导混着漫威和DC好像也不是多夸张的事。
自杀小分队VS.派大星 滚导重启了这个IP并且下了猛料🤭DC这回终于没有扑街了
看睡着了……刚睡醒。坚持不到小丑女精彩之处了，这什么鬼。

上一部要是按照R级而不是暗黑风的拍，小丑一出场那不是可以留一笔在影史了？果然DC需要新风格。银河护卫队和X特遣队这两个团队超英都给古恩收下吧。
其实在试图解构权威、用“异质性”取代“一致性”的同时 这种anti的力学已经以一种难以自制之势滑向小a的位置——觊觎大他者却取而代之而不得 最终沦为权威潜在的另一极 (虽然专门等口碑放出再去的影院 然而还是低估了DC的迷惑性+高估了粉丝电影的底线 可能只有寡姐和哈莉·奎茵对打能骗到我的下一张超英电影票了吧……)
没想到这么差，角色的特殊技能，台词，派大星的设定，卖萌的鲨鱼...try to搞笑但包袱却抖的很尴尬，既不搞笑又不美更谈不上任何结构性功能，只有打打杀杀 连爆米花电影都算不上，杀死国王后还非得给上价值也是够了，btw 哈莉的飞花特效也实在太廉价
