The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 由真实案件改编，有智慧的律师和有骨气的妻子，还有千万劳苦百姓。
印度版《秋菊打官司》。眼见生活在石器时代印度村民的生存状态令人触目惊心，冤假错案反而没那么大震撼。这个事例本身不过是“大道废，有仁义”的现实演绎，此类型在印度电影中并不少见。只是多了种姓、歌舞、殴打和律师庭审的桥段，被神吹的过头了。7
拍得有点“卡通”，但这部电影……或者应该说是这个故事里被侮辱与损害的人，以及这位律师，真的非常了不起。

期待了很久看完反而有点失望，大人帝国，夕阳和涂鸦是心中top3

技术层面太多初级的电影手段了，在严肃和嬉闹之间来回横跳，为了主题的深刻性多给一星。
有时候，我特别好奇，难道做一个坏人特别幸福特别开心？为什么要做一个坏人？晚上睡得着？吃饭很香？会有很多人爱你帮你？不理解。
尽管也是从头顺拐到尾的电影，毕竟也是为印度10亿人形生物拍的，多加一星吧。
影片拍得并不怎么好，过份感性、过份戏剧化、过份突出个人英雄主义，但详尽展现了这个抗争司法暴力腐败的真实事件，值得观看。
青春就是这样无意义的热血吧！哪里要什么规矩人生呢！
这世界本就是弱肉强食，但是也不能为此就放弃朋友啊。

直到最后警局和所有被告都没有悔意，都还是在试图掩盖错误和问题，而当权者也永远只关心在议会的地位。
真实依托民主制度（哪怕是像印度这样在一些人眼中如此“”劣质“）和独立的司法压倒了电影技艺。
…拍得太模式化脸谱化了，社会性+足量的煽情+戏剧化。
