The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 加兰仍然保持了前两部导演作品的高概念创作，但却仍然保持在高概念层面。所有要表达的都很直白给出，好在他对营造气氛特别在行，仍然可以让作品保持非常高品质和高辨识度。
绝了，延续了a24一贯冷峻清新的画面，诡异怪诞的风格，一切慢慢崩溃死亡。循环生子场面在我看这么多年恐怖片中能排前三。男性凝视下的女性处处求生，对异性的恐惧是一切的根源。
好久没有这么爽的cult片了，断手和套娃绝对永垂邪史。

为那个惊掉下巴的无限分娩奇观我还是愿意给出高分，整个片子指向和厌男情绪太明确，以爱要挟两性关系，拆解成几类男性角色的具体形象来批判拙劣的道德绑架，就算再怎么“重新做人”一变再变看似“毫无保留”地求爱，本质还是一个样，真的很讽刺与挖苦。主题曲无缝衔接， Elton John的一首老歌《Love Song》Love is the opening door/Love is what we came here for/No one could offer you more.

氛围感拉满，视听上很享受很适合大银幕。但是这种主题是不是非要用一种奇怪到变着花招吸引眼球的程度来呈现呢？

MEN，男性糟粕大赏。男性的确应该看看，是什么令人恐惧或厌恶。最后的套娃不恐怖，但有点意思。不知道爱是什么，但绝不应该是束缚和伤害。
看得我整个人在大夏天都凉快了…最后十几分钟太恶心了受不了。依然是一种“女人不是”，但女主砍起男人来果断狠绝还是蛮…empowerment的。无用美学堆砌得有点多

过于龌龊，最后的结局我真的万万没想到，有些台词也是深入骨髓了，比如：“男的这样很正常。”“男人打完女人道歉，不就是希望被原谅吗？”“男的都有欲望。”…… 反反复复，累了。最后来的朋友是个孕妇，也算是一种隐喻吧，同类型的《逃出绝命镇》，拍摄手法有点相似，可以一起看。
其实吧，男人生孩子是女人的终极梦想。要是男的真的能生就好了。
