The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 在不朽诗篇里与时同长
当一个人同时失去了家人和家园时会体验到的孤独，公路旅途也是探索生命意义的路途，关于丧失与疗愈、羁绊与放手、关于生死。其实片中涉及的每一种问题和状态都让人不忍去触碰和细思，但导演不仅有勇气触碰，而且处理得极为克制，哀而不伤，灰凉中又有光亮。
不知道為什麼想到逆光那兩句歌詞。離開釋懷很短暫又重來。吾心安處是吾家，人生後半程孑然一身的在大山大海中找一個parking place，看似淒涼的context但不給予評價。如此嫻熟的調度與情緒克制的演出，好電影。
