The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 但这部作品很不错，他在滑稽的边缘上完美滑行，让人欢笑却不过度，放得干脆，收得及时，所以看起来很舒服，不尴尬。如果还有什么可以更好的地方，我觉得是，在影片最后如果稍稍的给出一点暗示，暗示男主可能确有一点超能力的可能性，就更令观众欣喜了。

联合试训，有个爱德华兹轻易过掉主角的回合，那次防守时男主完全没给对抗，就在站桩。这简直是灾难，所有前面夸耀的天赋和努力，在这一个镜头里几乎坍塌。这也是这个电影最致命的地方，华彩的“一球成名”梦背后，仔细一看现实性和成人性几乎为零。
