The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 科恩采用表现主义，却又把古典表现得过于古典，反而少了一些新意
不太欣赏得来这种舞台剧（古典）转换成的电影，不过总算是对《麦克白》这个IP有了一些些了解

三星吧。我还记得第一次看《蜘蛛巢城》时的震惊。
极端风格化的一出棚拍舞台剧。同为A24出品，像是《灯塔》和《绿衣骑士》的集合体。与《灯塔》同为4：3黑白画幅，前者更注重光影而本片更注重构图。弗朗西斯麦克多蒙德的又一个冲奥角色，戏份不够突出不看好。除了视觉上足够享受外与之同等的是观影过程的空虚。
风格很好，很像伯格曼的第七封印。但没有新的东西。style over substance
这电影估计会在表演和摄影或者美术上拿奥奖提名。
属于我看多少遍都看不懂的那种类型的电影~但是4:3x黑白 还是挺好的
莎翁的作品现在看来确实跟不上时代了，同样的故事在现代人看来，台词太过晦涩，剧情太过拖沓了。丹泽尔华盛顿的表演无可挑剔。极简主义的场景有的镜头看起来很美，有的却又显得那么简陋。
那三女巫是咕噜吧！极简布景确实有点好看。但实际上也没啥“新东西”（我也并不求啥新东西）演技是挺不错的
演技最好的麦克白夫妇。摄影真的是太绝了！太绝了！太绝了！
看似极简，其实充满了设计，不得不承认打光和摄影确实极具观赏性，完全匹配这个阴郁又带有邪性的古典悲剧，但除此以外是非常戏剧式的演绎，包括黑人演员的选择，不明白其意义何在。
3.5 视听语言的确好，三个女巫水池中的倒影、血滴落时造成的心理声响、城堡中树叶翻飞的光影搭配乌鸦哀鸣……总之，影像美学上足够表现主义。丹泽尔·华盛顿的麦克白有点神经衰弱，科恩嫂的发挥也正常，只是这种戏剧改编的电影在保留舞台剧的质感后，很难不让人发问：还有拍的必要吗？

科恩的影像实验，做足形式的影视化舞台剧，但剥离古典主义的现代化风格，其价值又能有几何?看不出有什么新鲜的表达。
只能说很有个性吧
就一开始被这个光影和几个影帝影后的表演给震慑到了，正要打个高分的时候，回过味来，却依然觉得故事还是那样，人物也没有突显出来，更多的是戏剧化的表达，可以说是把话剧搬到了荧幕，话剧与电影的结合是做的不错的，依靠于那精细的光影，但是故事却因为要应和这个光影而略显得薄弱。
