The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 实际上，我并不觉得这部电影有什么值得大书特书的特色，或精湛高超的技艺，它更像是一个套了黑白滤镜的流水账故事。

温吞的像白开水一样，黑白色调是绝对的减分项，非常个人表达的作品。
