The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 911之后真正反思外交政策的有作品吗？只有这些逃避大问题，满足点温情的东西吗？
它在有限的演员身上安放两三个角色，配合简单的道具，从而塑造不同的群像，搭建出丰富的场景，但又并不让观众觉得混乱，很多简单的转场效果极佳。

演员业务能力都好强 人道主义精神里巧妙的渗透着美国精神
太好看了，太好听了！当校车司机拿过陌生语言的圣经，按照熟悉的编号告诉语言不通的游客“不用担心”时、当他们来到全纽芬兰同性恋最多的小镇时、当他们在同一个地方向不同的神祇祈祷着同一件事时、当她身为美国第一位女机长却听闻热爱的飞机变成炸弹时、当她们都有着一个消防员儿子时、当他们因一件恶性事件相遇又相爱时，我笑与泪不绝。而当他们改变着装、饮下尖叫、亲吻鳕鱼时，纽芬兰瞬间升起了太阳。
这才是音乐剧，有好故事有好音乐有好表演，开大巴的那段动作非常逼真。
对美国人而言，911当然是一场悲剧。而对美国以外的人而言，911的意义则要复杂得多。它可以是分流与冲突的开端，也可以是对团结的提醒和呼唤——具体相信哪个，我们可以自己选。
