以三个人的视角分别讲述，每个人因为立场不同感受不同，这样的视角变化并不新鲜，而且这些不同对于剧情没有任何推进，反而显得非常重复和拖沓。
1老雷的处女作是《决斗的人》，生涯末期这部《最后的决斗》颇有纪念意义，且看且珍惜；2老雷对于中世纪冷兵器对战场面实属驾轻就熟，看得过瘾；3罗生门式的故事讲述方式，更多突出两种男权的表现方式，马特达蒙把女人视为财富、生育的工具，自恋的亚当德富赖把女人视为玩物，朱迪科默在那个年代对女性权利的奋争堪称勇敢，但颇为讽刺的是最后仍需看两个男人的决斗结果来决定自身命运；4亚当德富赖这脸驾驭任何角色都不违和，相比之下达蒙的发型和大本的金色胡子看着就有点出戏，朱迪科默古装比较惊艳，比《失控玩家》里吸引人多了。
赔钱对于作品又有何妨？时间将洗练证明价值。
