The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 惊喜之作！轻Cult黑色电影，所有笑点都是在不经意处闪亮，所有一切都设置的如此合理，我甚至都感觉有“伊朗猪”这个生物；之前有很多同类型片，但这部竟然有股子清新感；对于目前缺物资的上海市民…恩，“素食主义者”😍
演员们都发挥了一如既往的水准，整体评分三星半吧，剧本没有剧版好。他俩演得太自然了。

比起紀錄片更加瑣碎多了細節。影片始終對準餐廳對準後廚，敘述了一個周末晚上所發生的事，劇本非常紮實，演員的功夫也爐火純青，導演的調度相當不錯，全片自始至終一直很有張力，也挺抓人。餐廳的後廚，其實每天也是神經高度緊張，事情不斷，頗有些刀光劍影的樣子。
成品意外的小而精緻，初見預告片2.35畫幅只覺得有何必要？幸好餐廳後場相當狹窄讓這畫幅增強無處可逃的命運
Babe含量超标，剧作上完全不占据优势，全靠两位主角互相成全又极富感染力的演技撑起影片。剧版对于疫情与年轻一代的聚焦全然不在了，平易近人的视点消失，新颖点不见自然索然无味，隔离爱后见面的一吻甚至好过全片。
优点：gameboys的立意和现实反映一直做的很好，Susan阿姨的那一段看得我真的窒息的要死，讨论了宗教和同性婚姻，本lgbt疯狂落泪。
elijah 和 kokoy的演技太绝了 CaiReel is Real！
矛盾制造的有些画蛇添足，不过最后甜甜的“美满”倒是勉强给剧情收住了
