When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 拍得不是很细致，尤其是后面两年的幽闭生活对人精神的影响，刻画得很没有层次感。不过到底取材于真实事件，有当事人留下的记录作蓝本，还是很有观看价值的。
不过整个叙事过程中确实重点和角度出了问题，Noah的旁白贯穿始终，又反复在自己和Howie之间横跳，情感力度始终有点打不到人，略微可惜了。
