The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 之前看过两遍《我的PS恋人》，此类电影还挺好看的
整个电影都是靠全姐和孙锡久撑起来，剧情和叙事真的很普通。
也算是个名人传记的，毕竟Kurt是有天赋的，成名是早晚的事，当然伯乐也是很重要的
故事的可信性需要演员出色的演技来支撑，全钟瑞做到了这一点。
两个演员都喜欢，剧情本身没有很吸引我，当饭后轻松小电影看了
还行，有些趣味点，角色设计比较有趣，但是整体情节惊喜不多。比较有意思的地方是，男女主角都长得完全不像可以演爱情喜剧的样子，但是还挺来电。
愛的感情，十幾歲是在腦子裡，二十幾歲是在心髒裡，三十歲以上就從肚臍眼往下走。導演把眼光放在了性這一需求上，能不能不談戀愛，光解決性的需求?結果還是不能免俗，做愛做出了愛，可以看見導演在電影中對於戀愛的一些有趣的見解以及對於男人的吐槽，不過，說到底，性愛是不能長久的，性癮者畢竟是少數，人不能光靠性愛就不會感到孤獨，可能生活與靈魂上的關懷是大家願意談戀愛的理由吧。
反正每次看到这种故事都会让人热血沸腾。人生最幸福的事。被信任。坚持努力。有爱人并被爱着。
看这卡司还期待能跟《最普通的恋爱》一样喜欢，em……不仅叙事能力不行还浪费了两个喜欢的演员，连及格分都没达到。
质量上乘的爱情糖水片，男女主为什么质感都这么高级！几场对话戏我愿意单独拿出来给颁奖。而且“只要性不轻易谈爱”以及背后遮蔽的“爱无能”情爱观也真的又当代又普遍。好想认识小导演！
男人话多和性张力是不是成反比？孙锡久话多的时候就不性感了
就是为了两个人看的，其实俩人没啥cp感，但是在一起就是有一种……因为这俩人都爱看，同时出现在一部剧里也太想看了，只单单看两个人演戏就已经很好了啊。
孙锡久脑残粉在此，全程把女主脸代入自己。 金瑟祺好可爱啊可惜演了女配。女主怎么说呢，台词功力不行，被男主秒的渣不剩，原先在燃烧也没get到她的演技。 最好笑的是你的目光所及之处的张义秀在这电影里竟然打酱油了一个健身房妈宝小帅哥，简直xswl。
剧情一般。但孙锡久真的好奶啊，太喜欢了😄😄😄全钟瑞不愧是电影咖，力度到位👍👍

美国电影总是体现着美好爱情和英雄主义，也确实，这样是可以让很多人崇拜和向往的。运动题材总能拍的这么好，我国还是荒地，希望今后多出一些好的运动片子。
好鸡汤真的特别鸡汤，特别是教练对他说的话，也算是一个草根奇迹了，不过爱情篇幅有点过大

这是一道干木柴配辣椒碎。干巴巴的剧情，配上大胆辛辣的台词，想要表现睿智聪敏，然而没有。
