The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 降维打击？很多资本都在关注低维度产业，其实只是在他们眼里的低维度，所需要的付出和具备的实力却一点也不低，这或者就是此片留下的一点点思考吧，笑料可以，就是情感交代不明确，感觉突然就结束了
挺好看的啊，至少给我看的哈哈哈的同时还给我看饿了，解局也还行，像个长篇的小品。我还是很喜欢这个崔志佳的，欢乐喜剧人就表现的挺好的。
我给四分，绿皮书，指环王，沙丘，我都是给一两颗星的，最主要东北人能感受那种市井的东北文化，可以说这是一部精良的东北俗娱乐文艺作品，它的每一个调度，对白的节奏，表演的状态，剪辑的碰撞，都是专业级的，喜剧效果刚刚好，不仅故事合情合理有生活气息，人物性格鲜明又不过于单薄，没有深度却不烂俗，作为一部网大，值得四星！

直女爱上基，注定要伤心……还神他妈爱你如姐妹……LOL……迪士尼现在真的很爱在影视剧里加入lgbt角色，关键我看了这么多部都是男生喜欢男生，怎么不拍女生喜欢女生的？另外要是能拍得像《跳出我天地》那样真的就是五星水准，可惜这个剧本还是太迪士尼了……

好片，值得五星
11.14 下午 虽然俗了点儿，但我好久没这么笑过了
细节挺粗糙，毕竟是网大，挺多梗还是有点意思的，剧情吧不经推敲的东西也挺多，最关键的是这烧烤这本身展示的不多啊。我是单纯看完人生一串后就着吃的看的，倒也轻松愉快，所以三星。
我觉得挺好的，及格的作品，为了拉高一下评分，多一星吧
