The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 情节比较平稳，没什么高潮。适合当下隔离看。荒无人烟的绝地，意外倒不算什么，厉害的是脱离社会的等待。想想2个人一起2年4个月的无人地带，精神是最要命的。外国人的思维可能适合这样的探险。如果是男主一人恐怕真的疯死了。慢片打发时间看看，6.5

两位主角很像嘎子哥和窦文涛，套用傲慢与偏见的壳子，却没有很好的将故事深化完整，物质的贫富差距虽然是一个方面，但是精神上却没有区别，杰克苏的故事还是过于理想化了，不接地气也不感人。

很奇怪，两对人物关系中都各自只有一个人能令人相信，Howie的脆弱和Will的别扭，相比之下Noah只是泡水的手机，而Charlie甚至不如那艘被偷来的水上巴士。
