When Lauren disappears from a night club and doesn’t return home the next morning, her mother, Michelle, to avoid publicity and a scandal, decides to search for her missing daughter. Michelle soon discovers that her daughter might have been part of a pornographic snuff ring that lures young girls to make their money. Fearing for Lauren’s safety, Michelle hires the help of a store employee to find her daughter. But finding Lauren soon becomes an impossible task as no one really cares about missing girls or a mother’s lover for her baby. 画面、光影都是一流的，台词照搬莎士比亚，所以演员也像是对待（新潮）舞台剧那样去演。麦克白夫人达到了不是主角胜过主角的效果，论演技论气场，丹泽尔华盛顿真心比不过冰血暴小女警
I have no words it’s so well made in every single aspect. I loved the witches, the birds, the leaves, the girl in the water, the monologue. Frances McDormand and Denzel Washington are THE actors of their generation. Will need a rewatch with subtitles in the future.
新版麦克白变成了麦克黑。每一帧的构图、用光都无可挑剔，视觉效果实在牛逼，没得个技术奖项有点说不过去。奥斯卡影帝和影后妥妥沦为道具人，成了剧本和摄影的陪衬。
科恩兄弟单飞了？不光单飞，科恩大哥的构图怎么有点学韦斯安德森了？不管怎么，绝对没有黑泽明大师的版本那么惊艳和张力十足，这个版本有点偏于简陋和仓促。
哈利波特的表哥 或 成最大赢家。摄影，画面是很赞的，但这种舞台剧方式的电影和几乎照搬莎士比亚的台词，我有点欣赏来不来，可能是我太粗浅了。。

這份典型很努力做但分數不高的功課，原因是教授們見過世面目睹過其他更好的Macbeth

90%的内容听不懂。。。有几个场景的视听还是很震撼的，建筑和光影设计也是浓浓的表现主义，但有些对话场景镜头单调的正反打难免过于乏味
论观赏性，我觉得还不如无极…就很像一群学院派的话剧咖演过很多场后，在最后一场表演的时候用最好的团队进行拍摄。
极致形式感，视觉控的享受，摄影彰显魔力，浓浓的奥逊威尔斯味儿，表现主义手法去拍古典戏剧，悲悯苍凉，戏剧台词可以汇成诗篇。（另外女巫没提奥斯卡女配真悲哀）
没看过其他版本的，至少这个版本我看着质感非常不错，相当震撼。
总的来说，该片舞台剧不像舞台剧，电影不像电影。
m2211：又是摄影美学。莎翁的台词自不用多说。音效也很赞。
光看画面不错，麦克白是不是黑人我也不懂，德不配位是肯定的。当大型实景舞台剧看看还行，多的意思也不大。
Those witches' scenes are the best
宛如德莱叶回来拍了部《麦克白》，“先把那房间填满，然后一点一点的去掉”。没想到比15年那版还要极简风。
