The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 越被吹捧厉害的剧情片，反而愈来愈生出一股逆反心理不愿和大家一窝蜂去看去评价，也愈来愈只在乎自己感受。搁了很久，最后老头子聊到在路上原因稍感动容，能感受到导演想营造的调调，但整体看来并非很喜欢

年轻时是冇脚雀仔，年迈后入无依之地，所有的意义答案终究只在路上，足迹只可印在未来。
比起他们
全片下来最戳中我的，可能是最后那句“献给不得不上路的人” 。不过影片整体来说仍然是抓人的，有种狡黠的自由，非常喜欢整部片子的影调。
