The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 剧情有点奇怪就是说，就是脖子下面的黑线没有了，看着还是很顺眼的
摄影机的距离感是反直觉又成功的，是一种自然主义的选择，角色只是过客，他们的行为微不足道。虽然表面效果类似，但与强拗机位的《在哥伦布》截然不同。总觉得不沉沉睡去一段时间是对不起这样一部电影的。
#BJIFF2021-12 可以在奔波赶场的电影节节奏里耐心地看完这样一部无对白的「闷片」，精彩程度完全抵挡困倦侵袭，这已是对影像发自生理层面的肯定。将探险队的下沉与远望的老人做平行剪辑，老人逝世后对其身体的检查与探险人员在洞中的探索的画面放在一起是极其微妙的对比，人与自然就是这般被联系，深不可测的洞穴里有关乎生命的真意。

分寸感怎么那么好，通透，清爽，就像那牛铃和浅草地，话语是什么不重要，在沟通就好了，是谁也不重要，各司其职就好了，洞内外若有若无的关联，古典朴素的活着。
BJIFF2021 两种“终点”，同样是对世间万物的敬畏，一种充满了未知和期待，两块石头一把火苗，照出一个孤独的宇宙;一种是平静的接纳，老人的皱纹仿佛是洞穴中的地貌，最后的喘息仿佛是洞穴中的回响；虽然看似没有关联却是一种奇妙的融合，万物相通的感动
