The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 单一场景的悬疑故事，剧作上通常很难做到完全自恰的，必须要依靠巧合来推动叙事。剩下的就要看演员气场和魅力能不能给电影争取到足够的「电冰箱问题」了。（电冰箱问题就是观众在观影时并不会意识到故事逻辑有问题，等回家拉开电冰箱找饮料时，才会忽然意识到，这个故事有问题啊……）
3.5吧。故事挺过瘾的，单一场景小制作悬疑。但未免过于精雕细琢，设计感太强，情感浓度不足。气质有点像《利剑出鞘》。老头的戏当然不错，但没有达到他个人最佳水平。
精彩的剧情，情真意切的讲述，加本人坐镇，是真的情感炸弹。

剧本非常小巧精致，在单一场景下靠一个核心道具磁带把故事出场人物串联完全，依靠大量对白把故事推进的引人入胜，叙事节奏掌握的非常好，内奸和作局者情节的反转也非常让人意外，但前面铺垫过程已经在不断暗示，足见编剧考虑的周到，男主演技更是加分，这个角色在面临生命危险下的沉着，镇定，睿智是电影里的点睛之笔。（8/10）

有血有肉，情真意切。很有北野武的导演风格。深见才是真正的"浅草小子"。8.8
