The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 另外三位南非“革命先驱”在片中形象真的一点都不高大全。男主卡尔文有哮喘，也不像是特别聪明的人。但当你看到他们为了那个在当时根本不可能达成的目标而拼上一切时，又深深的使人动容……
種族之間，人為的隔離，就是世界上最大的不公。白種人的傲慢，就是自我感覺太好。自由和平等有時候的代價是巨大的，南非如此，很多地方也如是。

還有一個問題，就是電影沒有去做戲劇處理，他只是把故事說完，但是其中的反思不是說對白就可以說出來的，而是需要去呈現，但是電影卻沒有。他只是在呈現畫面，卻沒有內容，導致觀影者在看完後，除了當下的反思，其實背後並無值得思考的空間。這樣的電影，其實是沒有靈魂的，可惜了這群演員和這樣的題材。

看了一个半小时左右，剧情让我有点看不下去了，但是神尾枫珠真的好帅啊啊啊踩在我的审美点上！！

影版还是容量小了点，好多进展没细究就被抛出来了的感觉
结尾出现了，根据真实事件改编，所以司法部长的女儿真的被射杀了？
