The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 怎么突然就开始演新纳粹恐怖袭击了，头子还是市长，这不会是马克龙的竞选宣传片吧！这种双警出任务的嘴炮动作电影，好莱坞和香港都拍烂了，法国人却还在乐此不疲的拍，并且法式幽默真的很无聊。路易斯莱特里尔在法国从动作片起家，得到好莱坞垂青，拍了几部大片扑街，又回归法国拍这种中等制作动作片，听说最近接下了林诣彬甩手的《速度与激情10》，也算一个轮回，毕竟这家伙电影里的追车戏都拍的不错。
国产恐怖片的尿性，不是装神弄鬼就是神经病，和第一部一毛一样的框架，套了个壳子讲了个不一样的故事，你说你打个悬疑情感剧都好，非得加个惊悚来骗我，气人
一星半，金玉其外，但本质上其实是充斥着青少年狗血抓马和内卷现状的职场青春肥皂剧，这种剧本质量是无论怎么包装都很难产生价值的，所以只能停留在对各种元素和其它电影生搬硬套的阶段，从内到外都与芭蕾无关。
十月是万圣节的季节，night book刚在Netflix放出来我还以为是给小朋友看的家庭片。结果，我自己在看看被吓得不要不要的
前面真的有趣又可爱，但是后面男孩的动机真的让我有点摸不着头脑，让我结局观感不太好。
很适合楼上小孩吵的时候，用来催眠，有拖凳子声，有雷声，非常好👍
虽然评分比第一部高，并且增加了悬疑，但是我感觉还不如第一部好看，动作太少了，而且最后居然成了人作怪，跟上一部联系也不大，水生怎么了？

女主亲弟弟把女主养父母的弟弟杀了？其实剧情不连贯，说是家族遗传病，1里面男主就是他爹没病，男主他爸就是他爷爷也没病。他妈他外公他舅舅都没病。。。基因突变打水猴子的英雄儿子忽然就变水猴子了，小丑就是他智己么。。。还有这部片子和所有的恐怖片一样，里面的角色都喜欢晚上出来活动好好的，不知道为什么不白天来找女主，都喜欢晚上提个油灯来找女主[破涕为笑]，然后一个个领饭盒
各种标签…以及太冗长了…唯一高光部分是开着悍马在抄近路追逐那一段…

法国人努力的幽默显得别扭又傲慢，种族歧视的笑话一点也不好笑。
就是看个风景，听听久违的法语。这个取景地应该是萨瓦王国附近。记得17年前，2005的秋天，和师傅Antoine就走过那段飙车的山间长廊，从日内瓦到Grenoble，风景美得一塌糊涂，也就沈阳到丹东的高速可以媲美吧。
Krysten很美，也是为了她而看，就儿童向恐怖片特效和故事都很幼稚啦。
不过人物设定上跟第1步是有衔接关系的，这里处理的还蛮不错。

点映看完特地回去看了第一部，第一部基本就是打打杀杀，第二部比较有剧情一点，整体来说一般般，刚及格的样子，等免费资源就好了
