The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 南非也可以拍出这么有格调的电影，一切为了自由！
黑人反抗力量在策划暴力活动中被发现，情急之下逃进银行，并劫持了一群人质，后面就落入了俗套。虽想融入种族冲突的大背景，但不太成功。
影片很长，很真实的男同性恋现状，一边生气一边无奈。“如果有一个喜欢百合的男神，有一个喜欢bl的女神，那是不是就没有对错之分了。”爱没有对错，同性恋也没有。
节奏很好，原型改成女性不觉得是zzzq的妥协，女演员也演得很好。
我该这么去了解同性恋了，这个电影算是解决了我的一个困惑，为什么同性恋的男生知道自己喜欢男生的前提下还要去跟女生结婚生子，因为他们想让自己正常，想要拥有家人。但是这对于女生来说不就是妥妥的欺骗嘛

警长的转折，那个胖女人的转折
看到三分之二的时候愣是给爷整笑了。就这么放走了警察整个行动的头头？这智商也是没谁了。每个人的动机都不明，此片充分证明了南非电影水平和中国在同一个水平线。

電影其實很簡單，情緒也給予的很到位。但是缺少了這種困境式動作的緊張感，而且角色的成長其實都很突如其來，我不知道這部電影用了多少成本，但其有限的呈現方式，確實看得出電影再處理事件方式上很省略。
温和，却呈现出另一种残酷，比血腥的残忍更残酷！自由，是需要付出代价的！
你们自由的代价太大了！
虽说是根据真事改编，但片中情节编得比较过分，煽得过于用力。影片成本不高，场景不大，基本相当于剧场表演。男主、女主两名黑人演员表现不错，演得挺有张力，值得加分。不过其中一些情节编得有些离谱，bug明显，因为借着“释放曼德拉”的由头，导演偏向同情“MK”，赋予他们很多“人性”的细节，让人们对他们最后的结局产生同情。
就是篇幅有点长....
