In the first of this two-part series, Stephen Fry reflects back on just how much has changed for gay people during his lifetime. He meets Elton John and David Furnish, the couple who inspired Stephen to be open about his sexuality as well as many others. In 1st episode, Stephen travels to Uganda, where the government is considering a new law that would make homosexuality a capital crime - putting gay people to death for their sexuality. Stephen meets the men and women targeted by this proposed law and finds out the impact it is already having on their lives. Stephen also travels to the USA to explore 'reparative therapy', which claims to offer a 'cure' for being gay. Whilst in the states, he looks at how Hollywood deals with the gay issue by talking to Neil Patrick Harris, an openly gay man who continues to land leading roles. The 2nd episode sees Stephen visit Brazil, home to the largest gay pride celebration in the world and a place that has some of the best legislation on the planet for gay equality. But it has come at a price. All of the advances have brought about a violent backlash against gay people; on average, one gay person is murdered every 36 hours in Brazil. Stephen sees how this is impacting on the lives of gay men and women there and also confronts the politician leading the fight against gay rights. Stephen also visits Russia, where gays are now worse off than they have been for a long time. Their rights are being constantly eroded by a conservative government, backed by the disapproval of the Russian Orthodox Church. Stephen then travels to India, where the old British laws that criminalised homosexuality have just been overturned. Modern India is now looking to Hindu traditions as it forges a more positive way forward for its gay citizens, including its once celebrated transgender community.
NYFF世界首映，科恩夫妇都来了。知道剧情，台词听不懂，只能赞赏一下摄影美学。虽然是apple tv出品，但影片开头黑屏一下转白，不由感叹这只能在影院看呐/二刷开头，麦克白从迷雾中走向镜头那一幕，绝了
8/10。有好多时候我以为我在看舞台剧。摄影很棒，开头的白屏和结尾的黑幕绝了。喜欢这种冷峻氤氲的氛围。只是大段像诗的台词要思索，看得我脑壳疼。
明亮的夏天最好的朋友，別管未來如何試著不去想它，先過好現在的生活去喜歡自己的生活，戳爺真的太可愛了，🎶也超好聽。
剧情较普通。戳演的不出戏！真的梦回蓝色街区啊啊啊啊！仿佛又看到了我记忆里那个色彩斑斓有绚烂烟火的youth，和那个可爱的男孩！戳美颜盛世！画面色彩也好喜欢～
室外舞台剧，画面出彩，剧情乏味，大段哲理对白貌似伯格曼附体。极简又不极简，精致又不经典，都在照本宣科的走台。6.2
中规中矩的改编 没有特别抢眼的地方 优点是电影没有超过2小时…
好舍不得呀！Leo 和Fiat 之前的爱情还让人羡慕，陪伴是最长情的告白🥹可是请告诉我，为什么弟弟和学长没有HE！！！
这是我继2010版麦克白之后看的第二差麦克白！十分平平无奇，这种差劲甚至比2010版差得出其不意还让人生气。如果说10那版太差是导演的锅，那这版真的全怪华盛顿！画面一般般也就罢了，丹泽尔眼里也毫无恐惧与欲望的起伏，全程像个提线木偶……麦克白夫人不差，但在众夫人里也完全称不上最好。求求科恩直接放弃经典剧目吧，靠剧本优势撑的导演碰这种人尽皆知的内容实在下头。在各路导演铆足了劲搞创作的本子上给你来个中规中矩真的有必要么？进错考场了吧……画面想走极简黑白构成感走得还不极致，除了零星几个画面之外堪称简陋，表演还撑不起来…另外服化道也很一般，但这已经是不值一提的失望了。

MV视感，看着很舒服，音乐也很舒服，印度小哥略显无聊。
好像话剧舞台一样的麦克白城堡。
搞得我也想骑双人自行车了
首先LeoFiat的nc戏比正片强太多太多了，
用现实生活中的建筑材料来模仿舞台上的效果，有点像《歧路旅人》这种用精美的3d画面模仿2d的游戏。看了一半开了中文字幕，因为真的听不懂。
3.5 把troye拍得实在太好看了，这个角色和troye的适配度不要太高。但故事还是青春类型片的套路，不过几个演员演得还是真不错，能看到Ellen Burstyn也是很惊喜。
这是啥毫无观影乐趣的玩意儿？看一群大腕儿秀台词功底呢？就这布景，排成话剧不香吗，何苦制成电影还浪费一个黑白滤镜呢？
又是一版极具风格化的《麦克白》。与库泽尔版大量的苏格兰实地取景相反，科恩兄这次回归了既表现主义又极简的棚拍美学，表演风格也很大程度上加强了影片的舞台感。但总体来说改编的还是有些太中规中矩了，两位主演异于寻常的“高龄”也并未如预料中的那样带来新的解读，表演最为出彩的反而是饰演女巫的Kathryn Hunter和饰演Ross的Alex Hassell。同时也几乎看不到过往科恩的影子，也许这标志着单飞以后的新阶段？

有这样一个朋友，多好啊
剧场不可模拟特别在于观众对演出的自主选择，可以选择看这里，可以选择那样看，可以选择哪天看，选择都会影响呈现效果，但是电影不能，哪怕这样的也不行，这片子没哪里不好，只是像一个防腐过的、塞了棉花的、精致的，尸体标本。
