The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 导演处女作就如此惊艳，真是太牛了。有四两拨千斤之感。仅用一间裁缝店，寥寥数人，大段文戏就讲清楚了两个黑帮门派之间的明争暗斗。温文尔雅，寡言少语的裁剪师居然位于食物链的最顶端，对黑帮的人不留余地，对待女接待员却有着老父亲一般的温柔，对她此前的小动作视而不见，关键时刻不惜堵上身家性命为她圆梦，you know～从片名到主场景再到男主职业，有机统一，很巧妙
看到马东锡一拳一个，击倒众多罪犯，会让我感到极大的舒适感。再看到穷凶极恶的犯罪头头在马东锡面前又想横但又怂的样子，更是精神上感到极大的愉悦。看完本片整个人都会变的心情舒畅，这才是动作喜剧啊。
细想当然有“巧合”的设定，但这才是独立空间的悬疑啊，精致而又有味道，马克叔撑起整部戏。

高明的猎人往往以猎物出现，面对猎物会做好准备。全片节奏紧凑，起承转合流畅丝滑，最后十分钟的结局真的让人舒适了，最后告诉我们，鲁莽、狂妄、贪婪都致命，不过就像瑞奇父亲说的那样，你走上这条路还想遇到好事，那才是笑话。
哈尔滨张谦的传说仍在，孙锡久的反派狠劲有余，杀气不足，战斗力欠佳。

在一间小房子里，24小时的“碟中谍”～每个人的出场都有其使命。“人狠话不多”且“不要小看任何一个人”～老爷子最后的剪刀砍真的是惊呆了我的下巴～非常棒的电影！
〖20220413〗之前肯定看过，又看一遍。
《誓不低头》是一部靠剧本和演技撑起来的影片，悬疑与反转，犯罪与暴力，在逼仄的空间（一处小小的裁缝店）讲述了一个精彩纷呈的故事。
①与第一部的黑帮冷兵器犯罪不同，这部沦为非常平庸的警匪片，这对看港片长大的我来说显然是不及格的；
精巧的设计，所有场景都在一个裁缝店中完成，拍成舞台剧也是可以的。商业爆米花看多了，其实感觉这种精巧的电影更有吸引力。
马东锡一掌超人宇宙又一续作。观感上没有上一部暴力，其他元素都差不多。如果上一部尚且还对马东锡的能力有质疑，觉得东北张全蛋可以一战，这一作熟悉了套路就没啥悬念了，设定里他是无敌的，不仅力量点满，敏捷度其实也极高。我觉得这个系列如果没有进一步升级来个百人斩之类的差不多就不用拍了，可以参考一下印尼的突袭。
前有黄政民李政宰《从邪恶中拯救我》泰国大战，再到《犯罪都市2》马东锡孙锡久越南大战，留给韩国演员的东南亚国家不多了。张谦蛋已不在江湖，江湖还留有他的传说。韩国这类商业片拍得纯熟，每次都有一个十足疯逼的反派，这是最重要的。

非常棒，会让人看完在播卡司的时候回味。除了开头和结尾，cutter走向裁缝店和离开加起来10s左右的两场，没有外景，全部是内景。不算打手6个人物。故事紧凑，揭露Mable身份后，cutter的独白更精彩。预算从来不是阻止好作品诞生的障碍。
