The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 很久没看过这样好的华语电影了。年度最佳。很难得一部很独特性又平衡的影片。内容上很坦率不为审查而避讳，形式上惊艳贴合内容不突兀。

，名副其实的华语年度最佳！荒诞的艺术，光怪陆离的社会变迁，《霸王别姬》的隔空对唱，模糊舞台和荧幕的扑面而来的丁达尔效应，极具个人色彩和地方特色的空灵的戏梦版的表达，文革时期向右野蛮生长的水泥砖墙，屎里找蛆的桥段。细节和记忆点很多，非常大胆，导演也极具野心。在釜山电影节看的，179分钟，中途走了几个韩国人，亮灯后也有几个韩国人昏睡在座位上，只有我和个位数的同胞在诺大的影厅里鼓掌到人潮散去
泪目了，非常能感受到导演说这是一部温和的电影，柔中充满韧劲，芸芸众生皆丑角，人人都有自己的密电码。很感激能参与制作，国内无法公映是国内观众的损失。
作为历史片带有立场，作为女性主义片仍不如近年三大的女性导演有力。拍的工整，另一种说法就是没啥亮点。心血来潮的2k部标记

（3.5/5）视听盛宴，镜头平行摇出画卷，惊艳的实验之作。耳目一新但内核和手法回归传统，大量指涉旧媒体（史诗，章回体和戏剧），节奏是反叙事，反诗的。召唤出一个默片时代的幽灵（梅里埃，德国表现主义的人工布景，身体喜剧）。一个愚人所讲的故事，充满着喧哗与躁动，没有意义，最终诉诸说书似的历史虚无主义的滚滚大江中。

从《末路狂花》到《最后的决斗》，30年来Ridley Scott镜头下带给女性的理解和尊重无可比拟。这部电影票房惨败，是这个时代的耻辱。
另：来台湾三年才终于看了电影节，也是第一次经历电影放完亮灯全员鼓掌，感觉很有趣。
