The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 一个很值得深思的话题，如果注定要离开，你愿意让另一个人完全取代你吗？很难选择，男主的表演很好很细腻
题材很老套，但是处理方法会跟以前的片子有些不同，非常隽永。喜欢整体的视觉效果，颇有东方的禅意。
有趣的是，当我看到男女主角有一段时间分房睡的时候，我心中就对男主角有一丝犹疑，果然，他出轨了。男性的基本盘吗？
本应探讨克隆深层次的矛盾，最后被廉价的情感替代了。

作为软科幻，它甚至没有走到探讨记忆与人格的关系那一步，而是停在了与亲人告别这一层，总之有点可惜
