The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 吴京和吴磊的《乘风》，章子怡和黄轩的《诗》，我和娃都哭惨了
整体不如前两部，最好看是《鸭先知》，有那个年代的感觉，好笑。其次是《诗》，后半部分的诗写的不错，画面也像诗了。最后沈腾笑点不多。

鸭先知：徐峥的老上海街坊班底，随处可见的时代物件，市井气息浓厚，落脚点放在中国第一支广告的诞生，嬉笑怒骂又一本正经。健力宝、南方黑芝麻糊、哇哈哈、大宝等远古广告简直就是回忆杀
《乘风》：人物和故事梗概都是真实的，细节基本都是臆造的，整体观感一般。

徐峥的《鸭先知》，四星。
乘风：战狼之后有战马，战马之后长津湖；诗：首当导演欲写诗，其实就是一坨屎；鸭先知：户外广告三两只，春江水暖未可知；少年行：科幻伦理话父爱，欲盖弥彰实意淫。

章子怡的首次导演真的还可以，感情和表达也都足够细腻。

徐峥那一part是其中最好的，镜头语言特别喜欢。章子怡还是好好当演员吧，演技蛮好的。沈腾也是。
一星给徐峥，其他三个故事无主题，无结构，严重偏离核心思想，说的是父辈，讲的是孩子。
现在的献礼电影真的越来越不好看了。作为《我的》系列第三部也是最差的一部，在熟识那段历史的我看来，四个导演都有各自的缺憾。《乘风》节奏大硬伤，情节大硬伤（大半夜的在眼前放了信号弹，鬼子却撤了？）《诗》表演痕迹过重，缺乏重点，形也散了，神也散了，为煽情而煽情难以得到共鸣。《鸭先知》典型徐峥套路化产品，形浮于表严重，缺少深度挖掘。《少年行》更是近年国人喜欢的「小品式电影」（也可以说是二人转式电影），看个开头基本就知道机器人是他儿子长大后造出来的了，一点也没有惊喜。不过也有值得夸奖一下的点，吴京的平行空间剪辑，章子怡开篇的长镜头都还不错。演员的话夸一下吴磊，他是真拼。至于其它的，没了。
我和我的系列第三部，前面的是祖国和家乡，这次是父辈，从大到小，从浴血奋战到和平年代，这个系列应该也是终结篇了。评分不高，水平参差不齐，这部也是四个故事，最好的应该是章子怡的诗，航天人的浪漫以及其中的艰难与奋斗。然后是吴京的乘风，我觉得这个故事可以拍一部长篇，还有很多东西可以讲的。徐峥的故事我觉得一般，可能是我没有经历过那个变革中的时代吧。沈腾的故事放在结尾正好，毕竟我们已经是在先辈用牺牲换来的和平年代里了，可惜煽情有点过猛，不像开心麻花。
我和我的xx系列终于到了三部曲的结尾，除了吴京部分和章子怡部分表现不错之外，其余就真的只能说是及格。章子怡的诗部分拍的太棒了，表达出来的精神内核和立意恰巧是现在的中国这个时代最贴切的。
照亮别人的东西
这种拼盘应该坚持不了多久，但又怕这种拼盘真被坚持很久。
最喜欢徐峥的故事，现在的孩子看起来也许觉得故事有点搞笑有点荒唐，但那就是我的童年和成长，我在江西南路生活过，有幸经历了改革开放，看到了那么多从无到有的变化，孩子，这不仅仅是电影啊。
