剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     全片都是富有「戏剧感」的室内戏，这种形式其实格外难拍，再加上「欲望与性爱」的母题早已泛滥，但这部实确实极好：人物设置张力十足，对话witty（全场笑声不断），节奏精妙，从身体的触碰到精神的疗愈，四次会面使人物关系与影片深度层层递进，影片将SEX的「日常性」(as a daily life act/pleasure)与「象征性」(as a representation for lust, love, power) 完美交织，女性在「性」中的困境被细腻描摹，极为真实动人。即使对与女主完全不同的女性观者（我），也能激起不同层面的情感共振。也想到之前看过的另一部难得展现老年女性的性欲的佳作——《女继承者》。
