The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 头一天看了一部本土爱国主义舞台剧，然后这么一对比……好的更好了，差的就不说了。基本上就是我们和世界的差距吧。
看的百老汇官摄版本，歌曲好听，剧情节奏紧凑，只是故事内容单纯不是很对胃口，始终无法打动我。
一群高矮胖瘦、黑、白、有色，看上去就是日常中极其普通的中老年人，在舞台上又唱又跳整出一台戏，突然想起在自家小区楼下，看跳广场舞的大爷大妈们。感觉哪里怪怪的……
超棒！在疫情时期和911二十周年之际，很有力量的一部人性音乐剧❤️
特别，特别，特别感动。愿所有善行都被铭记，并得到应有的回报。音乐本身不算出彩，绝大多数对白和歌曲节奏都偏快，虽然是为了营造紧张气氛，但如果有更多抒情旋律的适当调剂，整体感觉会更张驰有度。唯一印象深刻的歌是女机长的独唱，旋律优美，而且歌词特别励志。根据真人真事改编的故事线太有感染力了，数次泪目，如果改编成话剧或电影，可能也会出好作品。
听了无数遍album之后终于在Apple TV里看了。感动！

我记得第一次看是在第一次艺考的那个冬天看的现场盗摄版，北京下了初雪，我躲在被窝里看这部剧，心里充满了对舞台的向往，然后情不自禁地流泪，至今我仍然觉得小成本音乐剧的成功典范就应该参考它，绝妙。
遗憾因为这个该死的疫情没能看上巡演，希望世界尽快恢复正常。

上线apple tv的流媒体音乐剧，看的官摄版，20年过去了，911事件还能赚足人们的眼泪，疫情期间看格外感动。幸福的小镇比大都市还开放包容，十几个演员用口音表演群像，不要忘记历史，不要忘记人类的灾难与高光时刻。
就是幾年前看過這個令我一發不可收拾的愛上歌劇！
