The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 主基调有点悲伤啊，虽然说奉献一生很值得尊敬，但还是觉得给主角一个好结局会更温暖。

故事中规中矩，演员的演技和情感表达都很不错，挺打动人的。

漫长的铺叙似另一篇Boyhood，在回归登月时日时终有回报。登月的平行剪辑有趣。过山车穿过山洞，Linklater也算致敬2001了。
人物比较平面功能性吧，善良又奉献一生什么的，这种看的太多了
剧情比较老套，看了就能猜出后续，不过师生情刻画的还不错。
特效每次出现都能把我尬住，除此之外都还好，真实取景就是牛，这种美不是后期能做出来的
一部属于特定人群的情怀电影，但也仅限于此。
娓娓道来的一次怀旧的时光，大事件与我们的生活其实多么不相干，却又影响着一代人的成长。

感觉男主是一个性格特别坚毅的人，在做大事上绝不含糊，只有在面对母亲的时候才会进退两难，不过好在男主母亲是一个特别开明的人。
看来林克莱特到了Netflix家，是有话语权级别的大导演了，可以这样肆无忌惮放飞自我，用这种几乎没有剧情的方式拍自己的少年时代，儿童视角罗列1960年代美国生活的方方面面。能有机会像这样子拍电影，对每个导演都很奢侈，作为导演的粉丝，好好享受就可以了。不得不感叹一句，太享受了，太浪漫了！
