The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 不管怎样，配乐以及霓虹摄影我挺喜欢的。但回到故事本身，全黑人阵容很难不让人想象是在影射什么。但要明白，这是恐怖片，不是文艺片。
三星半给了镜头设计和配乐，故事一般，老片新翻。
将惊悚点处理为带有歧视的（没做太刺眼的强调）白人对杀人传说作挑衅，而后被封锁、被穿喉长钩夺命：内核是文本中的复仇发出的警告，外在恐怖仅注作残杀——用可威慑任何人的死相间接表达对种族问题的关注诉求，这种手法真的不笨拙。
精致的室内装饰但没好好地利用这些空间优势，整体给我的感觉就是有足够的资金，但导演水平有限。
糖果人，一个乍听之下极其残忍惊悚的民间传说，而其背后的故事居然那样凄厉悲恸。它是街区里的枪击声和叫喊声，是枪口下的硝烟味和被害者所散发的铁锈味，是历史上无数因偏见被误判被折磨的人们。
低级的黑人平权内涵根本没有看下去的欲望，期待的恐怖片都会不好看。

6.0，气短，电影质感十足（电影形式和思维），近年惊悚悬疑片唯一可称道的只有不错的视觉感受（滤镜，精致的布景）适合大荧幕，可惜内地影院很难引进。
