节奏是比较慢，名字以及设定开头便会知道最终结果是老亨利肯定要牛逼一把，至于怎样牛逼一把就是这个电影的重中之重。后半段还算精彩，没有令人失望。妆化是这个电影的另外闪光点。

这个时代的电影西部片很难得了，就连剧本故事，甚至儿子的选角都在告诉我们西部片属于已经过去的那个年代，质感不错，配乐不错，很有味道。
