The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 还是不错，很有代入感，效果什么的都不错。很完美。很有创意的一部伪恐，女主是我喜欢的类型包括性格。
【B-】虽然还是「鬼屋+阴谋」的传统恐怖片模式，但是至始至终对于氛围的把握都很到位；虽然频繁地使用Jump scare，但是效果确实也达到了。再加之最后怪物的出色设计，让本片比一众同类型的小成本恐怖片要高级、精彩不少。
感觉抛去题材和背景设定(完全都没说)，讲的是心理学里控制与受控的关系。
好看但也让人蛋疼……满满的pasta，要是有一个更完整的世界观就好了
