The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 我以为911题材会很沉重，但很积极很快乐啊，有细节有思考，转换很流畅，女机长太帅了。人与人之间的善意好治愈。
它在有限的演员身上安放两三个角色，配合简单的道具，从而塑造不同的群像，搭建出丰富的场景，但又并不让观众觉得混乱，很多简单的转场效果极佳。
完成度很高，紧凑，热闹，张弛有度，音乐好听，人物立体表演到位，调度清晰明了，动人而有大能量…我国的主旋律可以参考这样的叙事。记住了这些人，和Gander这个地方。

作为一个有些抗拒Musical的人难得喜欢上的作品，虽然非常美式正能量，但是群像叙事、舞台演绎和main theme实在加分很多，在这样的日子感动于一些人性的美好也不错
911之后真正反思外交政策的有作品吗？只有这些逃避大问题，满足点温情的东西吗？
这是人类互助的时刻，这是悲伤的时刻，这也是欣慰的时刻。

悲与喜带来的历史与2022之间的一致性，使得苦难没有意义，虚无又穿透了我。

舞台设计得很好 挺可爱的 唯一要说不太喜欢的就是我感觉歌一般
911事件20周年官摄。芝麻切口的恢宏巨作，固定场景的万千变化，单时间线的犬牙交错。用相当简单的故事写实了打破国别民族宗教文化性别生物隔阂的大爱，编剧跪服。一想到这个故事在世界上真实发生过，不禁对人类多了一分信心。
是那种看了会感到幸福快乐的戏剧，唯一可惜的是作为一部音乐剧没有几段好听的旋律。
