The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 镜头构图美得让人心醉，随手可以截图明信片那种。女主角对前夫的心理阴影用形象生动到血腥残暴的方式活灵活现地撕扯出来，对男人毫无任何怜悯地批判。竟然是位男导演拍的，令人肃然起敬。

女权文艺恐怖片。可惜目标观众不是三者的合集，得是交集。
心理恐惧，男权世界，一人多面，概念不少，但这电影也太白了，隐喻都成了明喻，氛围有，感觉无。最后的一幕幕真是…..，能明白为何这样，但不能理解为什么非要这样。
别看，求求大家.太二臂了这片，真的无语.今年最无语的片子.直男导演就别拍这种题材了，真的无语了.

太cult了…想看又给我恶心到了，最后我麻了…a24调色还是很牛逼的
绝了，延续了a24一贯冷峻清新的画面，诡异怪诞的风格，一切慢慢崩溃死亡。循环生子场面在我看这么多年恐怖片中能排前三。男性凝视下的女性处处求生，对异性的恐惧是一切的根源。
3.5，加兰在制造视觉奇观上还是有一套！本质上还是在探讨男女关系和女性在男权社会中的地位问题

Dear Garland: Try to lay some decent plots as groundwork then upon that elaborate on visuals, not the other way round; for instance, at any rate there were some plots, not that they were nearly as stunning as the looks by any means, for the visuals to be based upon in your Annihilation, were there not? Please stick to that formula, comprende?
他们以不同面目出现，行使着同样的伤害，跟踪恐吓指责咒骂……当你手握斧头绝不屈服地面对时，他（们）却委屈巴巴地说，我只是想要你的爱。
又能成为A24的代表作，拍得有点不明觉厉，加兰对氛围感和节奏的拿捏太好了，包括同一张面孔男人们的设定等，也留给观众很多解读的空间，最后的套娃脱壳看的目瞪口呆。
比较喜欢嘉兰之前的作品，但本片实在无法接受。它真的不像一部电影.....
前半部分气氛控制了特别好，虽然看的一知半解，但是对于男女性别之间的解读还是比较清楚的。导演是一个非常热爱自然的人，好感度up！
