The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 真实事件改编，十周年的时候当着全村人表演个专场也太感人了吧，美式主旋律的正确用法。演员们一人分饰乘客和岛民，很考验基本功和调度了。

一面微笑一面泪流满面在音乐剧里是稀有体验，更像是属于罗杰斯和汉末斯坦的时代。但私以为，CFA和音乐之声这种剧存在的意义，就是告诉你，人可以做出多可怖的事就可以做出多美好的事。世界可以像911的纽约，也可以像911的Gander。
911事件后一个偏远小镇接待了临时停靠的几千飞机乘客的故事。可怕的人祸和温暖的人情，疫情后看别有一番感受。最感动的是全部根据真实事件改编，片尾贴出演员和角色原型的合照，让人更相信这世界的温情。
除此之外，剧本本身对911事件给美国社会心理带来的各方面影响的刻画也是相对比较到位的。
能支持人坚持，继续下去的，一定是关怀，各方面都很优秀的一部作品
Something is missing but I'm here. 前半段航班人员被困的经历，在当前疫情封闭管控的魔幻现实面前显得微不足道。但后半段确实鼓舞人心，重要的是在经历这一切后我仍在这，在困境中寻找快乐，宛若重生。
